Deburring and rounding of edges

The deformation and chipping of components causes feathering on the surface area and on the exposed edge radiusing. Our aim is to process the components with as little formation of burr as possible while chipping specifically during the grinding process

The manufacturer’s requirements with regard to finishing and the specific edge rounding have augmented significantly in the past years and are used as systemic elements e.g. during product development and functionality of the component in pump construction.
Since 20 years we have been dealing with different deburring technologies and have developed highly innovative procedures, which have become the industry standard. Deburring by punching is one of these procedures.

During brush deburring the processing of the metal surface is carried out by rotating brush bodies. Depending on the edging of the brush e.g. steel wire, nylon, polypropylene or abrasive brushes, different tasks can be accomplished such as the removal of protruding burr as well as the specific edge rounding according to template.

Deburring procedures:

Deburring via cup brushes
Deburring by punching
Deburring via corundumlinked rubber discs
Deburring via one-sided brush systems
